CHARACTER

Character makeup is used to change the features of an actor to match the needs of a movie script. Let’s say you needed to show an actor has been injured. After this crash course, you’ll know how to create: bruises, black eyes, cuts, scrapes, scars, a variety of burns, bullet holes and exit wounds. 

What about a character getting older? You’ll learn to age skin using alcohol paints and powder, stain teeth, and grey hair – and finally you’ll learn stretch and stipple with latex. At the end of the week, you’ll learn to lay a beard by hand and with lace piece.

PROSTHETICS
